Rolex's celebrated Chronergy escapement is now incorporated into the movement, offering a much more efficient reading and a longer power reserve of up to 70 hours. The movement also includes a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring that is highly resistant to electromagnetic fields and temperature variations.
